Established in 1990 and funded by different partnership from the Philippines and abroad, The Laura Vicuna Foundation helps street children get the proper protection and care with the help of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians.

In 2021 Kabataan Culture has started a partnership with the foundation by donating food and supplies to the girls that are living in the foundation home in Cubao. The first donation was on April 16, 2022 where the Kabataan Culture team presented the group with 100lbs of rice and reusable bags for each girl. The bags included note books, pens, sanitizer and mask for covid protection.

The second donation was this past December 2022, where the Kabataan Culture team once again donated 100lbs of rice and reusable water bottles and Kabataan Culture T-shirt for each girl for an early Christmas gift. The girls in the foundation treated our team to a song and dance and presented our team here in the US with a Thank You letter.

The Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation started with a single post on facebook about children in Zamboanga who were seen traveling on foot and using the rivers as a faster way to get to school. The foundation was establish to help children and families with supplying them with paddle boats so that they can go to school dry and properly get educated by their teachers.

Today the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation has garnered help from different organizations and Hope paddlers to build boats and schools in different regions of the Philippines and has helped thousands of families along the way.

Last June 2022 during the Kabataan Culture 1 year anniversary in Bellfower, Ca. The organization invited  representatives from the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation to speak about their projects in the Philippines.
